Aperion Wall Mount Pair - Bookshelf and Surround

The mounts work will with my older Verus Grand Bookshelf 2 (2012). It's nice to have them off the old shelf they were living on. The look is a lot cleaner now. A few of observations: 1) Finding a stud is the most stressful part of the installation. 2) The way that the speaker wire connectors are located on my speakers means that you can't attach the strap to the speaker and then slide it onto the mount. You need to hold the speaker up to the mount and then attach the strap (doable with one person, but would have been easier with two). 3) Other reviews said you couldn't use banana plugs. I don't use them, but I don't see any reason why they couldn't be used for my speakers. There is enough room. 4) They stick out fairly far, which is good for the sound, but noticeable compared the TV mounting distance.

With ceiling installation, it is very hard to secure a speaker with a screw that goes into the plate attached to the speaker.
