It Is Growing
It’s so little! Very pricy for a 1’-1.5’ plant. It also arrived with this powdery blue mildew and black spots on a lot of the leaves, so I cut the ones on the bottom to keep it from spreading, and left about five of the “healthier” leaves on the stem.
I kept it in partial shade on my front porch as recommended by another nursery to reduce plant stress. This strategy worked, as a new leaf began to sprout from the top. So after five days I transitioned it to my back porch where it gets more sun. By the 7th day I could see a new flush of leaves sprouting. So I carefully planted it in its permanent spot in my backyard with lots of water and soil in the hole. So far so good! Just praying it makes it through the winter!

Coconut cream mango tree
The tree I received had lost a lot of leaves. When I carefully opened the packed from the bottom the leaves were already sitting at the bottom of the box. I opened it to find a lot of black spots on the leaves and the stoil was soaked. Not moist but wet like I could wring it out. The soil was taped up on the top but the stem of the rootstock was mostly buried. My guess, it was to make it look like a better cutting and for transport. But I had to transplant immediately and uncover the roots which were mostly black on the root flare. Only one good root on the root flare and the rest of the roots were very small and weak looking like rot was already sinking in. I repotted, uncovered the root flare and so far the leaves stopped falling off but I haven't seen any progress yet just in that transition phase of will it survive or not.
