Two for One (Sashimi & Brisket)

Being an Aussie who enjoys Sashimi I have often longed for a decent Knife & when I started to enjoy a number of different meats smoked Low & Slow on the BBQ I bit the bullet & let my head go & ordered the Jikko 30cm Sashimi knife. Being a pensioner I was a bit nervous about spending that much money on a knife but on receiving the knife my fears were dismissed. The finish was exceptional, beautiful to look at & as sharp as you could wish for coming straight out of the box, in fact I still do not need to sharpen it after three weeks of use. The 30cm blade although longer than needed for Sashimi or normal carving it is perfect when attacking a full Beef Brisket (most single purpose brisket knives have 30 to 36cm blades but most are a Chinese copy of the Japanese & the steel used is of concern & quality). So there you have it a great knife that will last a lifetime, Totally recommended.

Re Kaz’s knives
