Fantastic Power Cable

Now that I own 4 of these, I decided it was finally time to write a review. I bought the first one for my tube power amplifier and right out the box I noticed substantial improvements in every facet of the music. Most immediately apparent was the drop in the noise floor. My amplifier serves as both a headphone and speaker amp and the difference in the headphones was massive, though very noticeable when using the speaker taps as well. Transformer noise essentially disappeared. As the cables got a few more hours on them the soundstage became wider, bass was both deeper and more resolved and detail was noticeably improved. Given these improvements, I replaced my existing (and significantly more expensive) power cables on my tube preamp, my DAC and my streamer. I heard similar results in every component -- much wider soundstage with details present out to the extreme edges, a smoother musical flow and better bass definition. In addition, the ever present hum from my turntable completely disappeared. No matter what cable you are using today, I recommend giving the Silver Dart a try.

Finesse and Slam

I agree with the other reviewers , these pc's are a huge improvement over my previous cables . I installed one on the power conditioner , at about 20 hours I began to notice far more lower level resolution . You know that feeling of seeing deeper into the artist's intent .. Then I connected the other to my JL Audio subwoofer and I got the slam ! Had to lower the level and readjust the various parameters . I now have fast and natural bass , Mingus never sounded this good . Be aware that these cables are stiff , I wish that I use them on my phono stage and amplifier . As with my other Silver Dart cables , I heartily recommend !

Great cable

I bought this about two months ago and have it plugged from the wall into my power conditioner, which feeds a cd transport and a DAC/pre/streamer. I won’t bore you with superlatives — you can read the other reviews for them. I’ll just note that it is a clear step up from the similarly priced cable it replaced. Performance is excellent, especially at the price. Also, it’s attractive (not the most important quality in a cable, but still) and exceedingly well made. Note that it’s heavy and a bit on the stiff side.
