Nature Basket Sewing Pattern - Ocean

I absolutely love this cute and lovely pattern coming along with very detailed and clear instructions how to sew it.

A beautiful project

As always, a beautifully detailed set of instructions, resulting in a lovely finished product. This will be a gift for my almost 3 year old next week. On and off, it took me a long time to complete, only because I'm a slow worker! One extra step I did -I turned the hood inside out and sewed along the two seam lines either side of the rectangular panel. This held my hood lining (which was too big - I'm not good at judging seam size!) to the outer skin.

Overall liked

Over all I enjoyed sewing up and making the ocean basket. There are some challenges as a US user in that the fabric here is often different sizes then written in the directions. Which means lots of figuring out what you need. That coupled with the interfacing being hard to find ( even the us alternative one suggested) and having no real frame of reference for how thick it needed to be ( other than firm) I think I went too thick. Overall I think the basket turned out well and my daughter liked it so that’s what is important. Looking for help/ support in The online Facebook group didn’t really offer replies which means it probably has gotten too big or people just didn’t know the answer. I will defiantly still make stuff from this company but do more research on what I need before I start and reach out directly to the author of need be. I was in a time crunch.
