ERC-4 Differential Reference™ CD Player and Transport

Built like a tank!

It was time to upgrade my CD player. I have an older Sony 6 disc carousel changer. It still works but I wanted something better. I have several other Emotiva products and have enjoyed them and the Emotiva customer service. Long story short, I decided to order the ERC-4 and give it a try. Boy what a difference in sound. More depth, a much larger sound stage and great detail. I'm hearing things I on the recordings I've never heard before. It brings back excitement in listening again! The build quality is great. The CD loading tray is solid and moves quickly. This thing is heavy and the remote is the most well built and heavy remote i have every used! I think it's made of steel! Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The Emotiva ERC-4 is a battleship plus the remote. I have a 1991 Technics cd player it still plays but the CD’s get stuck and I have to pry the door open. I have been eyeing your brand for along time since my son-n-law has a lot of your products. I finally bought my first piece of Emotiva to get started and the music sounds really great, it is even playing the CD’s that were scratched. I have a Yamaha receiver that the ERC-4 is playing through but one of these days I am going to have all Emotiva in my room. Emotiva, I believe knows what they are building and I love it. Thanks I will enjoy for a long time.

Its December 5, 2025, and i received my new ERC-4 player! Just in time for playing Christmas music. Extremely happy 😊 with the sound and performance, which looks amazing with my TA2 using it with Emotiva opticals. Merry Christmas everyone!
