Was the weather.

The seeds came up as stated on the packet. But the problem is not the seeds. The freaking crazy weather. Snowed twice . Then the crazy heat came. Then crazy cold weather. Will try again & hope the seeds will germinate inside for next year. Much bigger & stronger plants. The weather was against me. I needed a nice warm greenhouse. Even some plants that I purposed died. I just gave up. Not to be.

Patio Gardening

My season got started late 2022. I am a patio gardener. I have wanted to try Green Zebra Tomatoes for years and finally got to. I was unable to procure any large pots for tomatoes 5 gallon size is recommended. That being said, the largest pot I had was 10 inches and probably 1 gallon... I transplanted my seedlings into it and hoped for the best... Much to my delight it thrived! Even though it was root bound it grew huge and set fruit. I harvested at least 80 tomatoes! Some were 2 1/2 inches across while others were smaller. They tasted fantastic! I will have larger grow bags this year and expect them to fare well. Of all of the tomatoes I have eaten over the years... this is truly my new favorite!
