This really is a nice and fast cutting stone. I got the Trend diamond plate and the 4000 grit Shapton stone and it really does cut the steel quick and easy. I need to get better with free hand sharpening but I am improving. I wish that I would have ordered some of the cutting fluid stuff that he sells... Next time I order something I will get that too. I have been using some stuff that Trend sells but that is a little gummy so I want to try something else.
