Five star Mustard

Who ever heard of a 5 star mustard? Mustard is just mustard, right? Wrong!! I love NYT Wirecutter and they evaluated Raye's mustard as the best mustard. Out of curiosity I ordered 1 jar. Oh my goodness! This is 5 star mustard!! It is smooth and tastes delightful! My husband and I used an entire jar in 3 weeks!! How long has your jar of the yellow mustard been sitting in your frig?? I ordered 3 jars next time and gave one to my neighbor! this is so good. Do yourself a favor and treat your tastebuds to 5 star mustard!!

Puts the yellow mustard we all grew up on to shame. Great depth of flavour with a nice tangy aftertaste; no wonder it is a constant award winner. I highly recommend it.

What a pleasant surprise! When I first opened the jar I was expecting to encounter a yellowish, smooth mustard that would blend well with all the other stuff I usually put on various sandwiches. Alas, that was not the case. I found it to have a golden somewhat amber color with a bit of pureed texture which was inviting. Along with the texture it also tasted bright, mildly vinegary with a bit of “kick” and a lingering bit of tanginess. I opted to let it stand by itself on my burger. It was a treat. Quite yummy. I’m sure it will work with the various spices in other recipes. Thanks.
