Great Cornus Florida ‘Appalachian Joy’ Trees

Plants were shipped quickly and arrived fully dormant in great condition. Since they were stored in a cold place, they took a couple of weeks to start growing, but are looking great so far.

I ordered an 'Appalachian Joy’ Dogwood tree and 2 perennials. Last year, I was unable to source an 'Appalachian Joy’ so was very happy to discover New Blooms had this specific variety of dogwood! The tree and perennials are all healthy and will shortly be planted in the ground after our last frost date in Maine (Zone 5a) which is coming up in a few days…..can’t wait!!

My Appalachian Joy Dogwood arrived on-time and in good shape. I planted it almost two weeks ago and the leaves are starting to come out. I order and planted two Jean's Appalachian Snow Dogwood's last spring and they have flowers on them this spring. I've always had issues with powdery mildew on my native dogwoods. These seem disease free so far.
