Root Slayer Perennial Shovel

Here in New Mexico we have a lot of caliche, which is like half-cured clay, mixed with a lot of rocks. The weeds we get are very hard to pull out, as they develop deep roots to find moisture. But this Root Slayer shovel does a great job of prying them out. There are no signs whatever of the blade bending. Highly recommended.

Perennial Shovel

I purchased the Root Slayer Perennial Shovel in the cold of January. Combating the winter blues. This little shovel has got me all warmed up, excited for the spring. I took it out and it easily cut the frozen ground and sank up to the foot pegs. And popped the frozen plug out. So excited, I called Radius Garden and ordered several other Root Slayer tools! All received within a week. All cut easily into this hard frozen ground. I am excited to add the new Root Slayer family of tools to my work and my metal detecting hobby. Eric S.

Looks Like a Great Shovel

I purchased this shovel to donate to our Master Gardener silent auction fundraiser later this spring. It looks as though it will be every bit as sturdy as my regular Root Slayer, just a little lighter and a little smaller.
