Great tool

I’ve used a shovel for the longest time and have to say I’m happy with my new trowel. Obviously I can’t dig with it like I did my shovels, but it gets job done, even in root dense south Florida soil, while weighing I think less than a tenth of what the shovel weighs. That to me makes the trade off worth it by a long shot. I also carry a hatchet that I’ve used to soften up the soil before digging with the trowel in cases where the hole needs to be dug quickly.

One less thing to worry about!

This trowel is super strong and super light. One less thing to worry about in the delicate process of field bathroom duties. An excellent product!

Excellent shovel, worthless as a tent stake

Bought this to have a tool to help with digging holes when needed while it camping. Had it with me on my last camping trip and needed a tent stake in a particularly hard pierce of dirt worth lots of roots. Thought this would be the perfect place to try out the Dig Dig tool as a tent stake. Unfortunately the cut outs that are supposed to act as a place to tie your guy line to, also weakens the rigidity of the tool. A couple of mallet hits served to get it into the ground but also caused the tool to fold at those cut outs.
