Lao Ban Zhang Pu-Erh

Excellent Pu-erh.

When I couldn't get the golden pu-erh tea anymore I was disappointed but thought I would try this one. It did not disappoint! It is not too strong and very mellow. I add milk and a tiny bit of sugar to it. It's a bit difficult to cut off the cake but I don't mind.

I was positively surprised how much I love this tea. I’ve had chinese puerh in the past and didn’t like it, that’s why I was skeptical ordering this one. This tea is strong but not overwhelming, has a pleasant aroma and flavor. I brewed the same leaves twice and both times the tea was delicious.

Would highly recommend to friends looking for a completely unique pu-erh. The flavor really develops throughout multiple steepings in a single serve tea pot. Unlike any other pu-erh I have tried
