Great coffee - plastic parts cheapens the aesthetic

It makes very good drip coffee. Like others have said some of the plastic for such an expensive coffee maker is tacky. Put a lid that matches the metal heater section to cover the water! I understand the plastic for the grounds holder.

Straight forward machine that makes the best coffee

This thing makes excellent coffee. Simple, quick, efficient. Expensive, but well worth the price. Giving a 5 year warranty from the factory should tell you what you need to know about the machine. Pretty certain I won't need it, but glad to have it.
