The product goes on light and leaves my scalp unaffected unlike most products. As someone who has seen hair products with a dozen or two ingredients, and noticed how difficult it is to find 1-2 ingredient hair products over the shelf, this item is a great find. Highly recommend giving it a try as an adult too, not just for kids
