Love the stuff. Took a minute to get used to the application, but the smell is awesome and so I the fact that I’m not poisoning my pores now with all kind of unnecessary ingredients.

Excellent Product—I’m Pleasantly Surprised

I have bad memories of using Tom’s of Maine Natural Deodorant back in the day. So I was very hesitant to try VanMan’s variety all these years later. Grateful I pulled the trigger. This deodorant is better than the big name brands that I’ve been wearing for years in that VanMan’s product NEUTRALIZES odor. The other deodorants just seemed to mask odor (even the “unscented”). I feel much more clean and fresh than when I used whatever Proctor & Gamble hawks. I was also afraid that this product would leave a residue that would stain my clothing, like Tom’s did. VanMan’s deodorant has done no such thing. I was also hesitant to buy because it’s not marketed as an anti-perspirant. So I thought it would leave me sweaty by mid-day—again, like Tom’s did to me 20 years ago. VanMan’s has done no such thing. I’m totally dry all day long, and without any reapplication. I actually thought that this product would arrive to me in powder form. Maybe because of the tooth powder your company sells. I chose the jar of deodorant rather than the stick option because someone in another review noted that the jar formula somehow worked better for them (not that there necessarily are two formulas). So maybe that’s also why I thought it would be a powder (because it arrives in the same sort of jar as the tooth powder). Not so. It’s actually more like the tallow balm in feel and consistency. You just scoop a bit out of the jar with your finger and rub into each armpit. This is strange at first for anyone used to a stick or even aerosol spray, but after a few times it’s normal. I highly recommend this deodorant. I will be purchasing again.

Great Deodorant

I need the strong stuff. Most "natural deodorants" don't cut it for me, but this stuff seems to do the trick. The only downside is the cardboard container the stick comes in. Putting it on after the shower, the rim is starting to fall apart. Nothing egregious, but I've also only had it for 2 weeks.
