I have terrible hair fall. The shampoo soothes my scalp with its creaminess. It is a bit drying for me so I use oils on my scalp prior to shampooing. Then I use a conditioner only on my ends. The turn out is luxurious and gives volume even after before and after of what I do.

the best shampoo I've ever used

I subscribed to monthly delivery of the sweet onion shampoo because it's the best shampoo I've ever used. It makes my hair feel clean without stripped, it lathers up normally (not the weird foam explosion you get from regular shampoo) and rinses easily. I don't know if it's regrowing hair but it works great. I got the subscription not because I go through a bottle a month, but so I can give it out to friends/family for gifts. The 8 oz bottle lasts a while.

Scalp felt better and softer with first wash!

We have been dealing with our harsh water in our new place; very hard even with filter. Our scalps and hair were terribly affected by it, itchy, scratchy, irritated and the quality of our hair took a big hit. Even noticing hair fall! The first wash with this shampoo there was a noticeable change that was so relieving. And everyone here says their hair feels softer too. It doesnt lather really at all, so I add a little of a trader Joe's shampoo just to get some lather so it gets to the scalp; literally a dime size is more than enough to get the lather. This van man shampoo isn't crazy expensive, but it's not cheap (understandably so) and not a very big bottle. But I'm sold. I also bought the tallow and oh lord, you have a customer for life. Can't wait to try other products!
