Her writing is always enjoyable but I missed the dry, acerbic wit which shines through in the equestrian books. And the unbelievable number of saccharine endings…….

Terrific cast of characters

I love the cast of characters in this novel, all galloping toward a wonderful conclusion. A very satisfying read, although I'd love another instalment of the Rushbrokes.

Not a bad read

I love Caroline Akrills writing and have all her "horse based" work. This is a bit different but still has her style. (One error in that the composer is "Massenet" not "Massinet")
