Derring-Do for Beginners (EBOOK)

Such a fun read! My only complaint is that I want more!! Jullanar is probably my favorite character, bar Cliopher, and it was a delight to encounter her in her youth. As always, the worlds that Victoria Goddard has created feel incredibly real, and I'd pick her characters to spend a day with out of all fiction!

I love this book; I love learning more about Damian and Jullanar and how they met, and how they met a certain mage! Damian is my favorite of the Red Company so far I think, and I hope we get to see more of him in the future.

So far, so good. It‘s interesting to follow Jullanar‘s journey from one part of the empire to another. Or from the Empire to outside (as far as I have gotten).
