Good historical series

These books were well written, and it was fascinating to see how WWII affected pony owners. I also was very glad to see that Jean was able to make her way into working with horses, instead if being somebody's secretary, even if the future of the venture would depend on hard work and luck.

Love them!

Really enjoyed both of these! And Jane's foreword also helped contextualise and was interesting.
