Fits my massive head
After trying other popular running hats (looking at your Fractel!) this is the first one I found which actually fits my big head. I'm really pleased with the quality, and it's surprisingly cool even in really hot weather.

Best hat EVER
Simply put, an amazing hat. I don’t really like wearing hats as my head gets too hot so would never wear a hat on runs but the air vents on the side provide so much breeze even at walking pace that it cools your head down. Fits well and stylish enough to wear casually, I wear it on my daily morning walks and I have already taken it to the local lido while soaking up the sun. Equally great on short or long runs, especially in the current heatwaves. Best hat EVER.

Heatwave running survival gear
I've had this (the white version) for a couple of weeks now and the UK meanwhile has been lurching from heatwave to heatwave. The bucket hat isn't a style i've ever tried before (not really a festival guy) but it's won me over after around 5 minutes of being self conscious. The materials on the hat are great, fast drying and breathable enough that I don't cook my brain. I have a big fat head and the one size option fits great for me, and also cooperates nicely with my wrap around sunglasses. I've also found that the bucket hat is less susceptible to being blown off in the wind - the elastic toggle on this bucket hat is more comfortable that cinching the strap on my caps down to be tight enough not to fly away. It definitely absorbs some sweat, but having it on the trails i've taken the opportunity to dunk it in streams and run it under taps to a) clean it and b) cool my head even better once put back on. I've not noticed any discolouration of the white colour so far, and i'm a sweaty boy. I would buy another one of these if more colours were released, not sure i'll do black as it's primarily a hot weather garment for me but who knows once it starts raining again. In a more trail-y colour I think i'd feel a little less like a cricket umpire for those first 5 minutes of the run.
