Galeux D' Eysines Winter Squash (Heirloom, 100 Days)

This variety is a classic to me. Germination is good and the plants grow quite fast, but they do take up a lot of space and tend to climb. I had squash vine borers but the plants were hearty. I ended up with 2 good pumpkins. One cracked and I had to use it right away, but the other stored for a few months. This variety is not as dense with flesh as others, but it tastes good and is good for any pumpkin recipe. One of the good ones for sure.
