Carmel Convertible Backpack and Crossbody

I desperately want an attractive, secure travel bag. Travelon, Baggalini, Sherpani tend to be too "utilitarian." I had hoped I had found something with Arden. I ordered the Carmel backpack because it seemed like it was the largest bag they had that could be worn crossbody. But, it was not big enough. I would also like to see vegan leather or other less touristy materials.

The pin fell out from connecting hardware on my crossbody backpack on day two of my trip. Luckily I had the small tools to fix it otherwise I wouldn't have been able to wear it as a backpack , the strap would not have been secured. This was frustration because it took over an hour for my husband and me to fix it.

I am in Seattle and purchased it for the excursions I will be going to during my Alaska cruise. I really prefer and love my other Arden Cove bags! This purchase was made for function more than for style.
