The only cutting board worthy for my Japanese knives

I wanted to purchase this Asahi cutting board so badly, but I couldn't find a web(shop) in Amsterdam, or the Netherlands, or in the whole of Europe that sells them. So, I ordered them here at Global Kitchen. The shipping costs and custom charge were higher in price than this cutting board itself. I think it was worth it though. That's how much I wanted this cutting board! It's such a joy to cut my vegetables on this cutting board with my beautiful collection of Japanese knives! I'm never going to cut my vegetables on any other cutting board than this Asahi (and the Hasegawa cutting board that I only use for cutting fish/meat)! This cutting board is superior on all levels compared to all other cutting boards made of wood, plastic or any other material. The produce that I cut won't move/slide on this board, it's super easy to clean and maintain (especially with a scraper) and it will last forever. It doesn't dull my knives as fast as the best wooden/plastic cutting boards do, and I'll have to perform really terrible cutting skills to chip my blades on this board. If you're looking for the best cutting board available in the world, buy this one. Me and some other serious Chef's (all using this cutting board professionally) that I know all think this is the best cutting board out there at the moment.

Great little tool

Great size, and very effective at scrubbing away stubborn stains. Definitely an essential item to have to keep our cutting boards in tip top condition.
