Poking along
Three years ago I enjoyed a couple nice melons from two of these plants. I love the vertical and compact size of the foliage and the flavor was quite good. However, subsequent efforts have proven quite frustrating. This year's planting was off to a good, early start, but the plant is just sitting there, seemingly waiting for Christmas to even think about setting a blossom or two. I don't expect sufficient time for mature fruit, and the amount of special attention I've devoted to the effort is just not worth it. As an ornamental, perhaps it makes sense, but the old sprawling watermelon variety majorly outperforms this one in production of something edible and satisfying for every grower's expectations.

Not germinating
This is the third time I’ve tried to plant these seeds, indoors with heat mat, dome and planted in healthy soil and nothing has popped…everything else I have planted including other watermelon varieties have done wonderfully but these seeds are just not doing anything.
