Awesome mustard, almost couldn't be better
This is the variety that completely won me over to mustard greens. It does one of those great taste sequences on your tongue, so interesting and ending with a HEAT ka-pow. It doesn't bolt until, like, the next year -- yes, mine survived the winter in southeast Michigan, both under cover and not. Some of the bud stalks tasted extra-great too. Of course if you want it to self-seed all over your garden, the lack of bolting could be considered a flaw, but let other varieties do that while you harvest lots of leaves. The only issue I've seen was some kind of leaf problem in 2024, kind of like bleach spots (couldn't find the picture I thought I took) but it didn't happen last year. (The seed that year wasn't from Territorial.) This is my absolute favorite variety. I also grow Dragon's Tongue, with less enthusiasm, but have given up on almost all the others.

Spicy and Delicious
This grew abundantly and was such a great addition to meals - cooked or fresh. Bolted in late July, which isn't bad!
