Great performer, delicious, and so, so gorgeous
I am running a comparison between Alkindus and Marvel of 4 Seasons (Continuity). These are two awesome lettuce and they are very similar. I think the trials will take another few years to decide :-)

Pelleted Lettuce
First, the color. Second, the texture. It's easy to harvest. I buy it every year. it's not oily tasting like some of the others I've had. It's germination also seems better than some of the others.

Perfect Lettuce
These burgundy butterheads are about as good as it gets. They do well in the spring and right now in mid September in the upper Midwest I am harvesting the best ones of the year. The ones I'm harvesting now I started in flats in the shade in late July and transplanted out when we had a few cooler days. From past experience they will last for about a month until a hard frost knocks them out.
It is a great luxury to have a perfect salad every day.
