Italienischer Lettuce

The best lettuce!

I live in a high desert area and this lettuce stands up to our 100-degree days and cool nights. It rarely bolts even after 60 days. It has a wonderful crisp romaine-like texture and mild flavor. Our favorite lettuce to grow.

Love this lettuce!

I'm not really a big salad eater, but have enjoyed this lettuce immensely. It is vigorous, handsome, tasty, and doesn't seem at all interesting to the pests in my area. I've got more growing for fall and will try to keep some going as much of the year as possible.

The Italienischer lettuce is extremely vigorous. Even in the summer heat and bolting it is still edible. I will definitely grow it again.
