Giant Musselburgh Leeks
I planted too late for them to get big but will try again next Spring. I can harvest now when I want but they're on the small side, Fall/Winter came on strong this year and I was counting on an Indian Summer for them to mature. Nope. Next year is my year! No problem with seeds germinating and sprouting. Love my leeks in soups.

Good Germination
I bought these to trial against "King Richard: which has been my go-to variety. Germination in the greenhouse was much better for GIANT MUSSELBURGH and the plants grew quickly, I transplanted them to the garden about 2 weeks ago. The only reason for the missing 5th start in the rating is that I haven't seen them grow outdoors for a full season, and most importantly I haven't had the chance to cook with them yet!!!! :)
