Aroma II Basil

Lovely Basil

Aroma II is a good name for this basil because it certainly has a beautiful aroma to it. I live in a climate that has warm summers in North Central Washington. The basil seedling did fine until the earwigs found it. I had a major earwig infestation of all my potatoes which were in grow bags and the basil was nearby. There area I live in has poor soil so container gardening is best. There are also lots of wildlife that find anything I try to grow and snack on it. Fortunately I did grow another basil from seed and placed it out on a deck in a container. No problem with earwigs on the deck. It gets supper hot on the south facing deck. This is my first attempt at growing basil and I am learning a lot.

Great aroma and very good flavor

I have grown this basil for a number of years now. The plants always arrive in very good condition and grow huge in a container.

disappointing plant, went to flower very quickly and is not thriving
