Empress Of India Nasturtium

They Grew!

I'm having a great garden year, but I've struggled with Nasturtium in the past. These are growing very well. I'm in zone 6b and direct sowed into raised beds with varying soil qualities. Nice foliage and beautiful dark orange-red flowers.

Hard to germinate

First attempt- 2 of 12 germinated on heat mats under grow lights. Second attempt in garden- none germinated.

growing slowly

I have hopes for this flower as had success with nasturtiums last year.
