Not as pictured and they fade
I grew four of these this year. They are growing well and are blooming more than my fave apricotta cosmos. Bees like them. BUT, the flowers are more reddish/earthy than pictured and they fade rapidly in the sun to be kind of a washed out off-white to cream. I was hoping for the vibrant warm/cool pinks in the picture. Also, the flowers are on the smaller side for cosmos. I would not grow again.

Hmmmm...
The flowers in bloom are just like the catalogue shows, very beautiful and dainty. The plants are about 12-16"--shorter than other varieties I've planted, which is not a problem as they are at the garden edge. However, they seem to all blossom and then when spent, most of the flowers are spent at the same time. All of my seeds germinated, which is very good, but the flowering and going to seed phases are more in waves rather than simultaneous. Perhaps when the garden fills in more this summer, the fading seeding, shriveled phase won't stand out so much. We shall see how the summer goes. Perhaps it is a problem with my watering...?
