I installed it super easy and really seems like what I was missing when I smoke meats. I will be using my smoker next week heavily and I am sure the quality of this product will exceed my expectations!

The hinge system works well. Don't expect a machine fit, but not needing to set the lid somewhere else is a huge help. I still have not determined what the clip is used for. I will need to read the directions again. Good product.
