I very rarely give 5star .that being said it went very well the removal of the old seal took me about 2 hours and another 15 minutes to get the new seal on . Then I did as described in the video and allowed the egg to heat to about 270 to 300 degrees for two hours then cool down for about 1hour . Not bad just took time to get theold glue off

Don't fire up to max after install

The BGE replacement gasket came with everything needed including the razor blades. But we fired up to max temp on the first use for steaks - and melted the the glue on the gaskets. Don't do that - the instructions actually tell you that - duh - after reading. So this not the fault of BGE We replaced again and followed the instructions by cooking chicken at a lower temp first. No problem. Looks like we are good to go now.
