I was in a pinch because I wanted to place my Legacy Calibre speakers on top of two JL Audio F112 subs (via an active crossover). I had looked at other “puck” isolation systems but Herbies VSS also had a square piece for each speaker that helped elimate vibrations not just from the corners but also coming up from the middle part of the speaker. Furthermore, I wanted the VSS to adhere to the bottom of the speaker but not to the top of the sub (to protect its finish). After talking with Robert (always helpful), I decided to get one side adhesive only (one, none or both are all options). I was able to easily adhere to my Legacy’s and place on top of my subs. The result was a super secure speaker set up that sounded great! I can’t speak to the materials used but I love the sound and my Legacies are not “over sticky” should I want to remove for cleaning, etc. I also use Herbie’s tube dampers for my amps (driver tubes) and DAC— all of which work quite well. Oh, final note: everything delivered well packed and in a reasonable time. I would buy with confidence!

Best fat dot bundle value...

Aside from being a wider footprint over standard dots, the overall value makes this the best purchase under $100 for similar fat dot combos of your own design.

I could not see how any speaker would not benefit….especially effective when mated to high mass platforms and stands…a strong recommendation!….
