So many grainy options to choose from!

Loving the gouache shaders set so far. Having the option of variable width, variable opacity, and fixed for each texture is especially handy. To my eye some of the textures are quite similar to others, but there are so many I really can’t complain, and it gives me a reason to experiment and include subtle variations in texture. Easy to use for a beginner digital artist as well :)

There Can Never Be Enough Grain

If you have a particular fondness for grain texture brushes, then the Gouache Shaders are worth adding to your collection. There are twenty shader brushes in addition to eight liner brushes. Each shader brush comes with three variations—fixed width, varied size and varied opacity. This results in a wide array of grainy textures, from delicate, sandy grain, to equally delectable variations of medium sized flecks, as well as more opaque washes with wonderfully crumbly edges. You will spend many happy hours absorbed in the endless variety. This set is also a nice complement to the Woodland Wonderland brush pack.
