retrograin, a marvelous and grainy product

I've been having a lot of ads for retrosupply brushes and textures so I decided to go ahead and try with something small first and was blown away, absolutely love these brushes and the grain texture they provide. I love playing with the stroke width and see how it affects the looks on my designs.

Retro Grain to the rescue !

On a Fulbright working to illustrate magnets recycling in the UK. Scientists throw scrap electronics into a tank and powderize them. I was scratching my head about how to illustrate metal scraps disintegrating as hydrogen gas eats them up. Went on Youtube and discovered the video that demonstrated the RetroGrain brushes. Lo and behold, these brushes were almost custom made to illustrate all kinds of particles disintegrating into oblivion with utmost grace.
