Gouache Shader Brushes for Adobe Illustrator

Highly versatile tool that is elevating the quality of my illustrations daily

I have been craving an analogue feeling in my illustration work for a long time, but been hesitant in reaching for analogue art supplies, as digital is my preferred way of working. This brush set turned out to be exactly what I needed and is absolutely elevating the quality of my work daily. Before my purchase I have also been looking at other brush sets from Retro Supply, but I ended up buying this one, because it looked like the most comprehensive choice. And let me tell you - I was not wrong! It has the perfect combination of liner brushes (which, apart from gouache, resemble pencil strokes, too) and shaders (the textures you can achieve are just outstanding!). If a versatile tool is what you are looking for, I would definitely choose this one.

Leveled up my Mural game!

I've been using these brushes for years on Procreate. It's seriously helped to get that mid-century illustration style I've been in love with for so long. It also helped me to develop a recognizable style that I've used in illustrations and animations that have even been in my local airport. Big win! Was recently commissioned to complete a VERY long digital mural and had to use vector. I use Illustrator occasionally but really missed my Retro Supply brushes. So it was a no-brainer to purchase this brush set again for Illustrator. They're so intuitive and really level up my work. Thank you!
