Works as advertised, the only downside to this thermometer for me is that because i live in the EU there is only 2 ways to get it to me: 1) shady seller on Amazon that charges 4x the lavatools store price 2) use a forwarding service (2.5x lavatools store price) I don't mean this as a bad review (the product is good so 5 stars) but i do hope lavatools considers venturing outside the US market.

Accurate and Useful

I use this thermometer in my Big Green Egg when smoking meats to monitor the internal temperature without opening the Egg. I’ve put it side by side with other thermometers to test accuracy and they are all within about 1 degree of each other. This unit does exactly what it should with ease. It’s easy to program high and low alarms so you can relax while the Egg works it’s magic. I highly recommend this thermometer and others from Lavatools. They are all high quality and accurate.

Love this little thermometer

It has a very easy to read display, with back light. Easy use to set temp limits and timers and the magnets hold it well to the pellet hopper. And the price was great compared to what else is available! I am quite pleased with this purchase.
