Focus not so Sharp

The good thing about this razor is that it is practically impossible to nick your face, however you can scrape it. Which is what happens if you try to get a close shave. My old DE razor is much better, despite an occasional nick.

Okay.....But...

I can only thank Findrihan for their prompt service and great costomer service...But...The specimen of the R-48 that I received was not up to par with what I would consider "machining tolerances ." I get it that it is the lower budget model made of aluminum...But one of the base openings was rough and hacked and looked different from the other slot...It seemed to slide and lock in the blade ok..After a few goes, but it kind of put me off from purchasing the stainless version cause I figure if this razor company can't machine a simple aluminum R-48 cleanly enough, than should I dare jump for an all stainless version? For the price of this upper version, I'm starting to get into some price ranges of some pretty darn good artisan de razors...With all this being said, I can say that I truly like this se razor...it shaves well and meets a need...But I can't pull the trigger on the stainless if this is what the Focus Dynamic factory in Italy would pass as "ok" for distribution.
