Bomb-proof bread
These are great to crumble into stew, soups and sausage (or any kind of) gravy to add some satisfying heartiness, flavor and texture. I take one straight from the bag and crunch up some chunks into my meal, or smother it in gravy.
They do soften up when wrapped in a warm dampened towel or paper towels for a while, but do not go back to fresh from the oven tenderness of course. I put them under my entree in the cozy when doing this for the moist heat.
