Pilot Metropolitan Fountain Pen - Black Plain

An amazing bang-for-budget pen. Good weight and feel. Nib is a bit more fine than other brands like Lamy and such. I like it but I think it is good to make note of.

I started with a different pen because it was all I could find, locally. I found that I had to be very careful to hold it at a 45 degree angle or it would. The Pilot Metropolitan is much more forgiving. I think it is a great pen for beginners.

my first fountain pen

Pen writes nice and it is my first fountain pen. Wish it had specific instructions on how to assemble. There is generic instructions regarding all different kinds of in cartridges but I had to look up a YouTube video to figure it out.
