These were so fun to make!!
I did find some of the instructions to be confusing and thought if there were more photos to go along with the instructions that it would help, but thankfully I am just skilled enough to have figured it out and I love how they turned out! I did change a few things for my girls’ trick or treat buckets. I did not do any of the optional add-ons (pocket/dividers/etc) and I also simplified it by eliminating the top portion and instead of doing the strap that requires the button/button hole attachment stuff I just sewed on some woven strap material from hobby lobby to make permanent handles (my children are young and would for sure take the removable straps off and loose them, so this works better for my needs)
Lastly, I topped my raw edges off with binding I made from leftover lining fabric that I machine sewed onto the front AND inside. (This was part of the instructions but my execution was slightly different)
Overall I’m super happy with how they turned out and I’m very proud of myself for going out of my comfort zone and learning new skills in sewing as I’ve never done something round or used flex foam before. Total time to put all 3 of them together was LESS than one day!

I felt that this pattern could use some revising, as the measurement of the body piece does not fit smoothly to the circle piece that is the bottom. Calculating the circumference of the bottom piece (using Google) it is smaller that the body of the bag, making tucks inevitable. Once I revised the measurements, my second bag went together much better.
