When I first opened, I was disappointed as I thought the pins would be thinner. They worked for my project that I was making. Would have loved them had they been slightly thinner which is the reason for 4 stars but I will use them for other types of sewing other than what I originally bought them for. They are a good value. Really wanted to like to give a 5.
