Azolla Filiculoides "Fairy Moss"

It grows like crazy

Smelled rancid

I ordered two plants, the fairy moss and hornwort. The hornwort was largely brown but recovered. However the fairy moss smelled rancid in its container and was decaying. I was able to salvage a tiny leaf or two that was slightly green but the smell and visuals of the remaining amount I felt would be detrimental to add. The two small leaves are doing good, but I was hoping more of it would have survived the shipment.

Smelled really bad in the package, but once i put it in my tank they seem ok.
