Happy with Happy
This stem has helped me get reacquainted with drop bars. Previously, hands not high enough (and to some extent, having to reach) were literal pain points. So far so good w the Happy!

Happy Trek Marlin and Jones Bar
The 90mm Happy Stem is the perfect rise and angle for my Trek Marlin 7 Gen 3 with Jones Bar. It was easy to install to the OEM Rockshox Judy Silver steerer tube with exactly three 5mm spacers. The included bolt was perfect to set the load on my star nut which happened to be 13mm below the top of the steerer tube.

Visually pleasing way to adjust my LHT to my 60-year-old body
This is exactly what I needed for raising the bars and bringing them a bit closer on my Surly LHT. I had been considering using a steerer extender and a shorter stem, even though I really dislike that look. As luck would have it, a 90 mm Happy Stem put the bars almost exactly where I needed them, and looks very pleasing on the bike. It takes exactly 37 mm of steerer tube insertion to make contact with the integral stem cap. After putting on spacers, my personal preference would be to have no less than 34 mm, and no more than 36 mm, of steerer tube left to insert in the Happy Stem. I went with 34 mm. The included long compression bolt did not work out on my bike. The bolt was more than long enough, but the threaded portion was too short, so the bolt head could not engage with the stem to pull it down for pre-loading the headset bearings. I just used my old compression bolt that was threaded almost all the way to the bolt head. A beautiful, well-made product.
