Grand Cru-way to go
I’m 66 years old-and I’m done with 52 teeth big rings. The Grand Cru’s slightly smaller chain ring size and completely perfect vintage look is a great product, hope it doesn’t go away soon. Already bought 3 for my vintage steel frames.

Gorgeous Crankset
Can’t complain about the look! Still working on dialing in derailleur. There is a x chain rub on small to small sprockets. I downsized a little on the crank. 170 vs 175, 48 vs 50 lg front cog so it’s a bit different ride than my 20 yr old road bike, but hay I am in my mid 70’s and it’s not about speed so much anymore.

Solid and stylish crankset
I am very happy with my purchase! I was in the market for a new crankset as I was updating and modifying my current bicycle, something I use both for fun and on my daily commute. I was torn between getting a 46-30 or keeping the same 50-34 that my bike came with. When I stumbled upon this crankset, it was the best of both worlds. The 48-34 suits my riding style quite well, with a little less off the high end but still just right for the low. Also, with only a 14 rather than 16 tooth difference, the shift is not as drastic as what I’m used to, which is most welcome. What’s more, the look and feel of the crankset is very pleasing to myself and to others! Have already gotten several compliments about the crankset (which match the overall aesthetic of my ride). Definitely a nice conversation starter without sacrificing quality and utility! Be sure to measure for chain line; though a 1mm spacer got everything running smoothly.
