Featherstone Calcatta Air Sleeping Pad R-Value 6.6

I love this sleeping pad. I have used it on multiple camping trips and I'm thoroughly happy with my purchase. The Calcatta is incredibly comfortable. It is roomy. The bumpers along the sides make it so easy to know exactly where I am on the pad and I have never had any problems with sliding off. It's super warm. I haven't done any winter camping or anything, but I've been thoroughly comfortable every time I've used it and the R Value of the pad has been perfect for me, even on the chilliest nights I've used it. Full disclosure, I generally pair the Calcatta with the El Cordion pad, which bumps up the R Value, but I get peace of mind know that an errant root isn't going to poke a hole in my sleep pad. Easy set up. The pump sack is intuitive to use and while set up can feel a touch tedious, it's way better than having to blow it up using lung power. I have definitely thought fondly of buying a pump to make the process even easier, but for now, I have no complaints as the pump sack works well enough. 5 Stars. I'm happy with the price, I'm happy with the performance. I'm happy with the comfort. I've made several purchases from Featherstone and I'm thrilled with every single one of them.

Just used it on my through hike to Mt. Langley - absolutely amazing. I had been using the NeoLoft. This packed way nicer and shed some ideal weight! I might just buy a few more while they are in stock because I love the Calcutta that much.

I haven’t used it on a trip yet, but I slept on it a night on the floor, and it was incredibly comfortable. It comes with an inflatable and carry pouch, as well as a repair kit. it’s lightweight for a mat of this size. I highly recommend it!
