1) a bit of a time setting up - still having issues with itunes - but did get Spotify going and bluetooth set with one of my speakers 2) it's small and portable! If I can get my itunes onto the device then it would be great (and somewhat like having the old ipod back. Which WHY DO THEY NOT MAKE THAT AGAIN!?! 3) there is an app store and it has general internet access. even if there is no available wifi where you are, it's easy enough to log in when you are around wifi. I haven't explored all the apps yet but there are more than just music apps 4) it's got screen use. and looks like some games as well - not quite sure - there are a variety of app categories listed as available, BUT I don't see any actual apps for downloading. I would then assume that there are not other, non-music apps, but I have learned that my kids are quite adept at figuring things out and finding hidden things on electronic devices. So do with that what you will.
