Featherstone Moondance 25 Top Quilt Sleeping Bag Alternative

During my trip to Cardigan Mountain I used this quilt for the first time. It didn’t disappoint. Pack size surprised me. I gained two whole inches of pack space compared to my ÖV quilt, and my OV quilt was a big improvement over my prior bag. Comfortable was unreal, kept me warm throughout the night as temps dipped below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Was soft and puffy providing a sense of comfort that let me relax and have a good nights rest. From a quality perspective, it is solid. Stitching was firm and clean. Loft is consistent across all sections making warmth consistent across the quilt. Foot box zipper slid easily without snagging, something most products fail at. Do I recommend it, YES without hesitation.

Like heaven sleeping under this. So light but warm. Haven’t backpacked with it yet. So flexible compared to my traditional sleeping bags. I don’t see any sacrifices in quality for the price. I think it’s excellent. I think I would go with a lower temper rating, if looking at going into the late fall or early spring.

I haven’t had a chance to use it but,it looked like it is made very well it is a high end product.
